I am always looking for something creative to do. I have always had an interest in crafty things especially painting. When my first son was born I really wanted cute letters to match the theme of his room but found what I wanted was extremely expensive so I never did it. Once Baby #2 arrived, I decided I really wanted letters but again didn't find anything in my price range.
Walking through a craft store one day I noticed the wooden letters and decided that I had enough artistic ability to give it a try. The letters for the boys room turned out fabulous. I was able to incorportate the themes of their room in the letters and the finished product pulled the room together. Since then I have completed work for nieces and nephews. After posting some of my work on Facebook, many suggested I sell them; others were interested in having letters painted for their children, so the idea of "The Last Splash on the Wall" was developed.
My goal is to create darling letters to match the themes of children's rooms at an affordable price. When thinking about it, there are many things that can also be painted to match the room such as shelves, hooks, and step stools. The ideas are endless!
So if you are thinking of finishing your room with letters, please give me the chance to "splash" you wall with my decorative letters!
The Last Splash originated as Artwork, but thanks to a friend, I have two things going on. After taking a class on cake decorating, I found a hidden talent! And new passion developed. Decorating edible treats has become a fun hobby that I have. I may not be an expert but I sure have fun creating wonderful treats for others!!!
